The Ohio Valley University College of Professional Studies will offer its ninth class in
Alternate Dispute Resolution
during the Fall 2007 term.
Monday evenings, August 27--December 10, 2007
(Sixteen weeks--classes meet 5:30--10:30 p.m.)
This program is based on the training, certification, and practice of Mediation now conducted in the state of Florida (the first state to require mandatory
mediation), and is offered under the direction of Jerry C. Dyer.
He is a graduate of Southern Christian
University (B.A.), Pepperdine University School of Law (Master of Dispute
Resolution), and Nova Southeastern University (Ph.D. in Alternate Dispute Resolution.)
Dr.Dyer has mediated over 300 disputes and has conducted numerous seminars in the area of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
Each course is worth three academic credits for a total of 12 credit hours for the program. Courses meet four Monday evenings each for five clock hours per session (total 16 weeks for the entire program.) Class size is limited to 15 students.
Note: This is the only scheduled ADR offering for adult learners for the 2007-08 year.
